The addition of the Turkish-German player comes after Jasiek “jas” Nieliwodzki informed the team that he wished to step down from the roster prior to the VCL Kickoff due to personal reasons. We respect his decision and as soon as it was confirmed, the team started trialing with new players to find the last piece needed to start the Challengers run.
In the end the ball landed in the hands of 21-year-old VASQUEZ, who already had an impressive run with “VR2”, a team that qualified from the East Kickoff qualifier and have now secured a Playoffs spot in the main tournament after going 3-1 in the Swiss Stage.
VASQUEZ will be officially transfering to Metizport today, joining right in time for the roster’s debut in the Playoffs tomorrow the 29th of January, where their first opponent will be BONK. The team is already secured for the next stage of the Challengers league, “Stage 1”, which will start on February 7th and run until March 8th. The Kickoffs starting this weekend will end on Monday, February 2nd, giving the new squad a few days to prepare for the next stage.
With these changes, Metizport VALORANT now consists of:
Tyler “foxie” Lowton
Berat “VASQUEZ” Kaymak
Vladyslav “Kiles” Shvets
Tselmeg “xuss” Tsolmon
Yaroslav “Jady” Nikolaev
Alexander “alexRr” Frisch (Head Coach)
