Our Valorant squad led by Mathias “SEIDER” Seider is back home and practicing for Stage 3 of VCL after a successful 10-day venture to Sweden.
After hoisting the trophy and a 40,000 SEK check in Jönköping at Glitched Invitational, the Valorant team headed straight for a bootcamp at Alliance’s headquarters in Göteborg, where they spent six days together with Head Coach Tobias “ShadoW” Flodström preparing for the upcoming Stage 3 of VALORANT Challengers 2025 NORTH//EAST.

At Alliance’s headquarters in Göteborg, the team had all the necessities for a great week of practice
Every individual in the team was back home last Sunday and began practicing again Tuesday this week, with a little over 1,5 weeks of leeway before the Lower Swiss Phase of Stage 3 begins at July 5th, a Stage the team finds themselves in after a disappointing top 16 finish in Stage 2, failing to make it to the EMEA stage. The team, however, is positive about the early start, highlighting that they will get more practice in official games than other teams.
Metizport will go up against many notable teams, such as Team Liquid Academy, WYLDE, Enterprise Gaming, ESC Gaming, as well as Norwegian organizations Bitfix Gaming and Formulation Gaming, the latter which Metizport beat in the Grand Finals of Glitched Invitational 2025 in two maps. The Lower Swiss Phase, as mentioned before, begins next Saturday at July 5th and runs until July 7th. If the team makes it out of that stage, they continue the journey the following weekend, July 12th, in the Upper Swiss Phase. Eight teams in the Lower Swiss Stage are yet to be decided, with the online qualifiers, East and North, starting today.
Good results from here on is important both for the squad and Metizport as an organization, as VCT Ascension EMEA 2025 in October is inching closer and closer. The team can earn a spot in Ascension either by qualifying to Challengers EMEA and finishing first there, or by earning enough Ascension points collectable in both the NORTH//EAST Stage and the EMEA Stage. In the EMEA Stage, the amount of points up for grabs is over double the amount of that in NORTH//EAST.
Team Captain Mathias “SEIDER” Seider and Head Coach Tobias “ShadoW” Flodström will polish the strategies for another week, before appearing on the server. We will keep you updated on matches and opponents as the tournament gets closer. You will also be able to read an interview with ShadoW next week on this website.
