See you at Glitched this weekend!

We’re attending two tournaments at Glitched 2025 in Jönköping, Sweden this weekend!

Originally we were only going to field our Valorant roster at the event, who were invited to 100,000 SEK Glitched Invitational 2025, an 8-team tournament with some of the best teams in the Nordic taking place June 14-15. But as the Counter-Strike team exited the BLAST.tv Austin Major early and returned home, Metizport was approached and asked to attend. After some reconsideration of the summer plans, the team agreed together with the Sports Director to attend the tournament, as the squad is in need of VRS points for the fall season.

With adamb moving to an inactive position in the roster with less than a month left on his contract, the work began towards finding a suitable stand-in for the Counter-Strike tournament, Glitched Masters 2025 with a prizepool of 158,500 SEK. In the end, Jonas “Lekr0” Olofsson was put forward as Metizport’s fifth for the offline tournament.

This means that there will be two teams representing Metizport in two titles at the massive event taking place at Elmia, June 13-16. With our Counter-Strike team having declined in VRS points, we weren’t able to secure a spot in the Main tournament at Glitched Masters – we will have to go through the Open Qualifier on site, where top 8 goes to the main event. In the main event 8 teams are already waiting, the spots given to the highest seeded sign-ups. Ninjas in Pyjamas, Tricked, 9INE, Johnny Speeds & Fnatic are some of the more notable ones.

As for the Valorant tournament, Mathias “SEIDER” Seider and his men will eventually face off against other VCL teams like WYLDE, Formulation Gaming and Bitfix Gaming. With the groups now released, Metizport are starting in Group B together with Lilmix, Formulation Gaming and LEO Esports on June 14, with the first match at 16:30 CEST against Formulation Gaming. In the Counter-Strike tournament, Ahmed “abdi” Abdi’s squad is in Group A with two teams called Jannehack and Phantom Esports, with their first match kicking off on June 13 at 12:30 CEST.
