Metizport’s Counter-Strike team has punched in their ticket to the Grand Finals in European Pro League Series 6, where $16,000 is up for grabs.

New captain on the block Peter “stanislaw” Jarguz has led the team to their first Grand Final with the Canadian veteran, as the squad just took down Polish Phantom 2-0 in the semifinals. Metizport has fought their way through the Playoffs bracket of the $20,000 tournament since last Saturday, winning the opening match 2-0 versus basement bobs, then proceeding to sweep aside ex-RUBY in the quarterfinals yesterday with a “reverse-sweep” by losing the first map, then winning the remaining two to take the series.

In the semifinals the all-Polish team Phantom awaited, but with Nicolas “Plopski” Gonzalez Zamora stepping up to the task on both maps with a 1.56 series rating, followed by a stable performance by stanislaw, the opponents saw no window of opportunity in the two-map clash. Both Nuke (Phantom’s pick) and Overpass (Metizport’s pick) ended 13-9 in Metizport’s favor, and our Counter-Strike team is therefore ready for another Grand Final (the third one in 2026) against CIS-team ARCRED on Thursday, where the winner walks home with $11,000.

Worth mentioning is also that we are playing with a stand-in, Maciej “F1KU” Miklas, in place of Nikola “Dragon” Boskovic who is currently moved aside from the active line-up. F1KU has played an instrumental part in all matches of the tournament so far, and we are thrilled to have him representing us in the Grand Final in two days. Let’s break the curse of second place finishes and claim our first gold medal of 2026!
