Metizport has received double tournament invites for the two upcoming weeks.

Starting off tomorrow, in $25,000 Thunderpick World Championship 2025 European Series #2, the Counter-Strike team is set to go up against Russian SPARTA Esports in the early hours of 10:00 CEST. Metizport received a Group Stage invite this time around, and will have to gather two victories in their group in order to proceed to Playoffs. In the tournament we see several other interesting teams – ENCE, Nexus, Alliance and Copenhagen Wolves to name a few – as well as 500 Esports, where our former IGL Hampus “hampus” Poser has found new footing.

Kicking off on Monday next week is The Proving Grounds Season 3 with an impressive prize pool of over $87,000, where Metizport will begin their run in a Swiss-Stage this time around. In order to secure a Playoffs spot in this tournament, teams need to make it to top 8 in the 5-round clash between the 16 teams that were given a spot in the Swiss-stage. Team Captain Jack “Jackinho” Ström Mattsson has been given another CIS team as his first opponent – HOTU. The team’s initiating match in Round 1 is set to start on August 11 on 19:00 CEST.

As we have tournaments already lined up until the end of September, it’s safe to say we have entered a busy fall season! You can expect a packed schedule for the upcoming months, since the team’s only goal from here on is to climb the rankings. There is only one way to do so – attend every ranked tournament possible!
