ner0 joins Metizport as CS Assistant Coach
July 8, 2025
Today we can proudly say we have given Head Coach Ahmed “abdi” Abdi and the Counter-Strike team an additional tactical asset going forward.

We have acquired Portuguese Miguel “ner0” Videira from American organization Copenhagen Wolves, where the 23-year-old has spent four months as an Assistant Coach alongside the Counter-Strike team’s Head Coach.

The signing of an assistant coach to our squad marks an important step in our growth as an organization, but also the new approach we are taking regarding the Counter-Strike team going forward. We want to give them all the tools necessary to succeed and become one of the leading teams in the global rankings.

The idea of giving space for an assistant coach in the team has been present in the organization for years, with the last time the position was filled being in 2023 when Norwegian “Neon” spent over a year in the organisation alongside zEVES, the Head Coach at the time. But since Metizport’s larger Counter-Strike investment began in late 2023 with the signing of a full-Swedish team as well as a focus on competition outside a nationwide level, the discussions didn’t really begin for real until the Major attendance was sealed back in April. Sports Director Morten “zEVES” Christensen and Head Coach Ahmed “abdi” Abdi have been toying with the idea ever since, looking for potential candidates on the market. A fair amount of potential prospects have also reached out to Metizport over the past months, interested in the position. In the end, amidst an action-filled period of filling the remaining two player spots in the team, the longest straw was drawn by ner0, who will be joining the team with immediate effect for the fall season.

We want to thank Copenhagen Wolves for a smooth transfer process, as well as direct a massive welcome ner0’s way. We believe he can help take us to the next level as a team and look forward to working with him, bringing some Portuguese passion into the veins of Metizport.

ner0 shares a few words about joining us:

“I’m a young and eager coach in the scene, and I want to work with the best. I’m just thankful for the opportunity that is being given to me! My values will always be dedication, discipline and hard work, and I know we can teach and learn a lot from each other. I will do my best so we can achieve our goals as a team and prove that I belong among the best!”

With Videira joining the ranks, our current Counter-Strike roster looks as follows:

Nicolas “Plopski” Gonzalez Zamora
Isak “isak” Fahlén
Lucas “L00m1” Haukland
Ahmed “abdi” Abdi (Head Coach)
Miguel “ner0” Videira (Assistant Coach)
