Metizport’s Autumn Adventure: Counter-Strike team set for Bucharest
August 20, 2025
The fall season schedule for Metizport’s Counter-Strike team continues to fill up as we secure a ticket to DraculaN v2 in Bucharest.
Along with Fragadelphia Blocktober taking place in Philadelphia, USA October 2-5, we have now also purchased a slot in DraculaN’s second LAN toward the end of September.
DraculaN, hosted by Digital Crusade, announced their first offline tournament about a month ago, with an already stacked team list and €8,400 in prize money that will play out in Bucharest, Romania August 29-31. Metizport were unable to get a spot there in time, but we received another chance yesterday as tickets went up for sale for DraculaN v2, which will have space for up to 32 teams and €12,800 up for grabs. And this time we managed to land ourselves a spot, which means we will be very likely be going to Bucharest next month.
With DraculaN v2’s starting date set to September 24, there will be loads of Counter-Strike action from thereon as we will also be attending the LAN in Philadelphia the week after. Both these competitions hold an immense importance in terms of ranking for many teams, Metizport included. As mentioned in previous articles, with the favorable Valve Ranking rules set around LAN events, we are focusing on attending as many of them as possible up until next year. If we show good results in these tournaments and rack up enough wins, it can make a massive positive impact for our ranking as the new year comes by.
This is why we have titled this article, and hopefully many more to come, “Metizport’s Autumn Adventure.” Never before has there been so many opportunities for us to travel the world and compete in Counter-Strike, and we will do everything in our power to make these attendances as memorable as possible both for our fans and followers, but also for ourselves. With two LAN spots secured in different continents of the world – North America and Europe – we are already aware of many more opportunities in the upcoming months. For example, Svenska Cupen 2025 (The Swedish Championship) which we won last year after beating NiP with a 3-0 scoreline, returns in November.
Of course, the online tournaments available to play offer a wide selection of entertainment for you all as well. And there is certainly no shortage of those either. Currently, we are playing CCT S3 EU #5, a $50,000 online competition. Today, on the 20th of August, we swept aside our former Counter-Strike captain hampus’s new team, 500, with a 2-0 scoreline. Our next match will be on August 22!
