Metizport X to make brief comeback in GoodGame-ligaen
Our Academy Counter-Strike team, Metizport X, will despite the decision last season to skip national league GoodGame-ligaen, attend the upcoming Spring season.
The decision comes after our previous collaboration with the team 1ADL, who stepped in and played the Winter Season on Metizport’s spot under “MZP.1ADL”, have disbanded after several players in the line-up have been picked up by other teams. The Swedish-Norwegian mix team managed to finish second in the leaderboards.
With a loose schedule for the foreseeable future, Emil “ZapR” Marcussen’s Metizport X will play on our spot together with two (at the time of writing this article) Norwegian players – Erik “truth” Hansen Dyrnes and Christian “pham” Pham, giving Marcussen a better chance of filling the three obligatory Norwegian player spots. The one Swedish player from the line-up who will have to watch from the sidelines will likely also change from match to match. This makes this season’s Metizport in the Norwegian competition more dynamic than the static five-man squad that attended (and won) GoodGame-ligaen Fall 2024.
We sincerely want to thank 1ADL for stepping in for us and delivering great results the past season, and wish all the individuals good luck with their future projects.
Our line-up for the Spring Season of GoodGame-ligaen 2025 will likely look as follows:
Emil “ZapR” Marcussen
Jonathan “zame” Nyhagen
August “Straxy” Canavan
Marcus “macke” Hermundstad
Max “Kronkzz” Gustafsson
Christian “pham” Pham
Erik “truth” Hansen Dyrnes
