Metizport receives direct invite to Suberior League; to attend CCT Season 2 European Series starting tomorrow

 

Today it is official that Metizport’s main team has received a direct invite to Subway Suberior League, a CS2 tournament played on the newly launched platform Esplay and sponsored by multinational restaurant franchise Subway. 

 

Only four teams will be given the prestigious direct invite to the Playoffs of the eight-team tournament, where they will battle it out for 50,000 SEK (~$4,546). The remaining four slots will be awarded to the winners of four separate open qualifiers, with the first one starting on the 14th of December. 

 

The Playoffs will be played online and broadcasted by Esportstudion on January 18-19. More info about the league can be found here.

Our all-Swedish powerhouse has also accepted an invite to participate in the 15th European series in Season 2 of Champions of Champions Tour, starting tomorrow. $50,000 in prize money will be awarded to the top eight teams, and twelve teams in total have been invited along with four qualified from the Play-in Stage. 

 

These 16 teams will compete in a Swiss System format, where the top 8 will proceed to the Single-Elimination Playoffs. The tournament has many notable teams attending along with Metizport, such as 9INE, Endpoint and KOI to name a few.  

 

Metizport’s first game, played in Bo3 style, will commence tomorrow against UK-based organization Into The Breach at 10:00 AM CET, broadcasted live on CCT’s Twitch channel.
