Metizport is one of six teams to receive an invite to Glitched Invitational, a 100,000 SEK (~$10,281) Valorant tournament in Jönköping, Sweden.
In a post on X, the Swedish tournament was announced yesterday as well as the other five invited teams. HAVU Gaming, Bitfix Gaming, Lilmix, WYLDE and Formulation Gaming have all been given a chance to compete alongside Metizport, and the additional two spots of the tournament will be the finalists of SOL, Svenska Onlineligan, Sweden’s National League in Valorant.
The offline tournament will take place June 14-15 and award the top four teams with prize money. The distribution will look as follows:
Glitched Invitational will mark Metizport’s first Valorant LAN in 2025 as well as the first event together with Head Coach Tobias “ShadoW” Flodström, who has been part of the team since late February. The Valorant squad had a rough loss and an early exit in Stage 2 of Challengers NORTH//EAST a while back, missing out on qualifying for Challengers EMEA where teams can gather points in order to earn a spot in the Ascension LAN later this year. The LAN event in Jönköping next month will be an opportunity to make up for the poor result and regain the groove for Stage 3, starting in July.
