Yesterday’s quarterfinals against GenOne was a one-sided ordeal to say the least. Our Counter-Strike team lost only five rounds in the entire best-of-three series on Cache and Nuke (13-3 & 13-2), punching in their ticket to the final match of the qualifier versus Sangal tonight at 18:30 CEST.
Nicolas “Plopski” Gonzalez led the way with a whopping 2.01 rating across the series, however Maciej “F1KU” Miklas, Liam “MaiL09” Tügel and David “forsyy” Bílý were not far behind with 1.71, 1.57 and 1.47 ratings as the team swept aside the Frenchmen with ease.
The winner of tonight’s match will lock in their spot in the Spanish LAN event next month, with $100,000 in prize money up for grabs. It would be Metizport Epicbet’s second qualification to a large event this season after they secured a spot in $100,000 Logitech G Play Connect 2026 in Warsaw last month.
Thanks to everyone who has cheered us on so far!
