Alliance and Metizport have reached an agreement on MaiL09, as the 16-year-old will play under Alliance’s banner during a roughly five-month loan deal lasting until June 30th 2026.
Tügel was moved away from the active roster on December 31st last year after we struggled to consistently place him in a position that fully utilizes his strengths. With Liam’s talent unquestioned by us, and wanting nothing but the best developmental path for him, we were immediately open for discussions with interested entities about either a sale- or loan deal, as long as we felt like it would be a step in the right direction for him and his career.
In the end, we believe assigning him to Alliance – an organisation we have a great relationship to – and their Counter-Strike team is the right path forward. We strongly believe that this loan period will be an important step in Liam’s progression, providing him with consistent match experience and exposure to new team structures. At the same time, it allows Alliance to benefit from his talent, work ethic and dedication to always improve.

Metizport’s Sports Director Morten Vollan Christensen comments on the deal:
“The loan move is a positive solution given the current situation in the team and limited chances for playing time. It gives Liam the opportunity to play regularly, gain experience and continue his development. We wish Liam all the best during his loan and will be following his progress closely.”
Both Alliance and Metizport are attending United21 x Esplay Challenge in Norrköping, Sweden this weekend, where 15 teams will clash over three days for a prize pool of $10,000. Stay updated!
