After saying goodbye to isak, who departed the organization at his contract’s expiry to take a break from competing, Metizport’s Counter-Strike team will see 17-year-old MaiL09 return to active duty after an eventful loan period to Alliance. In the Swedish organization, Tügel showed good form together with the all-Swedish squad, most notably taking home three gold medals in CCT Season 3 EU #15, Journey Spring 2026 and Conquest of Prague 2026.
Liam will now wear Metizport’s colors again after seven months, and will come back to a different roster compared to his last rotation in the team, with David “forsyy” Bílý, Maciej “F1KU” Miklas and Peter “stanislaw” Jarguz having joined during Tügel’s duty under Alliance. The Swede’s role will also be different this time around, and structural changes are already well on the way to properly integrate and give the necessary space to Liam in the squad.
The Counter-Strike team took a proper summer break after ROG Journey Summer 2026 in mid-June and are now back in action with Liam, with their first practice day having already happened yesterday. A bootcamp in Norway is already scheduled before Liam and the team’s first tournament of 2026’s second season – Stake Pulse Beat 1 in Stockholm alongside teams like Liquid, Acend, fnatic and 9INE, with $60,000 up for grabs.
We’re happy to welcome Liam back into the team. We have been through a longer transition period, but we’re now in a much better place to utilize his full potential. The ambitions for the upcoming season are high, and with Liam in the lineup, we have that game-changing quality that’s going to be important for us going forward.
Morten Vollan Christensen, Metizport’s Sports Director
