After a longer period of inconsistent results and challenges, and with Jack’s contract expiring in June, both parties agreed that this was the right time to make a change and start preparing for the future. The 27-year-old IGL will therefore not attend Journey Spring 2026 in Stockholm, and we are already working towards officializing his replacement.
“Given our current situation and timeline, we believe this is the right moment to begin building towards the next season. Making this decision now allows us more time to develop the team and improve both structurally and tactically. This has been a mutual and respectful process throughout.”
– Morten Vollan Christensen, Sports Director
Jackinho has been a valued part of Metizport across two periods in the organization. He is highly respected within the team and organization, both as a leader and as a person, known for his professionalism, work ethic and positive presence. During his first tenure in the organization, he guided the all-Swedish team to several notable tournament results, such as a top 4 finish in BLAST Premier Spring Showdown 2024 where Metizport took down Team Falcons in the opening match.

In his second rotation under our banner, Jack most memorably took part in Svenska Cupen 2025, where he led his men to a silver medal and 70,000 SEK in prize money, but during the last months of his active duty in the team he also played his role in another two second place finishes in De_Airport Masters in Norway, earning $1,600 for the team, and in BC Game Masters Season 1, bringing home $5,000.
We are currently in dialogue with Jackinho to find the best path forward, and the Swede is open to new opportunities. For any inquiries around him, you can contact Metizport’s Sports Director at morten@metizport.com.
