From October 1st Metizport takes a massive step forward, both graphically and visually! We say goodbye to the old, bright green color that you all know so well, and move on to a more professional and serviceable dark tone. At the same time we see updates to our logo, official match jerseys, merch and everything else where our new colors are to be seen! And what do you think of our new website? We thought it was time for another “facelift”!

The new logo
In correlation to this there will also be new products in our online shop. Everything from gaming chairs developed together with our new partner, AndaSeat, to Metizport match jerseys in black and white. You will also find varsity jackets, bucket hats, as well as this year’s Christmas sweater, but the last one you’ll have to wait until November 1st for – we have to remain professional!

The new merch
The collaboration with AndaSeat is certainly a step in the right direction for us. We wish to establish ourselves in areas where we can work together with bigger brands, and the chairs are just the beginning – more collaborations are on the way. The Metizport chairs have already received good feedback and will be sold both in our shop and at Elkjøp, a Norwegian home electronics store.

Financially 2025 has been a good year, which means we are on the right path. Thanks to this we can now proudly announce we will soon be looking to appoint a Chief Commercial Officer (CCO) who will join us in pushing Metizport further into this new, exciting phase in our development.
On the competitive side of things we’ve had some challenges after the Austin Major this summer, losing two players and having to rebuild with a new Captain. We are happy with the two new additions of Jackinho and MaiL09, the latter which we bought out from Swedish organization Johnny Speeds for a hefty sum, showing our scale and commitment in the world of Counter-Strike. However, it’s never easy to rebuild, and therefore we’ve taken a few steps back on the ranking both in Europe and the world. Sitting on 854 points we’re currently ranked 103rd in the world and 69th in Europe, a depth we haven’t explored in a long time. But we were ready for it. We knew we had to take two steps back in order to rebuild a good foundation for the future.

However, a few good wins in LAN tournaments and we’re back on top 30. As of today the top 30 team in Europe has 1220 points, which means we’re around 370 points behind. But a win against a better ranked team in a LAN environment can make all the difference – a couple of those, and we’re back on track! That’s why we’ve flown to Philadelphia, USA to attend $10,000 tournament Frag Blocktober 2025, where we’re looking at starting the run for real after a disappointing result in Bucharest last week. And Frag Blocktober is just the beginning… There’s a lot more to come in the upcoming months!
Outside of the competitive field, there’s always action in Metizport. We’ve taken in four new ambassadors on the content-side that you’ll see on many different occasions from here on. They’ll take part in events both online and offline and produce various types of content and activities, such as on SpillExpo, Bergen Games, RedBull GIBAWAY, Svenska Cupen and DreamHack.

Our new content creators
Last but not least – in case you’ve missed it – we’ve clinched Berg-Hansen, one of Norway’s leading travel agencies, as our official travel partner. Now we don’t have to worry about the logistics when we’re out traveling, and can focus fully on delivering world class entertainment wherever we go.
That’s it for now, but there’s plenty more exciting news on the way. For example, we’re looking at new cities to establish Metizport in. So stay tuned, and thanks for the support!
