hampus and co. have arrived at our offices for a one-week bootcamp

In preparation for the BLAST.tv Austin Major in June, our Counter-Strike team has arrived at Metizport’s headquarters in Myrvåg to build a stronger foundation going forward.

The bootcamp, taking place 13-19th of May, marks the second time the 2025 line-up assembles this year, with the first time being a bootcamp in NiP’s headquarters in Stockholm four months ago.

After a rather disappoing result in the Play-In stage of Svenska CS-ligan 2025, failing to qualify for Elisa Nordic Championship 2025 after losing to Alliance, the bootcamp in Norway will hold great value for the team’s structure going forward, most importantly prior to the $1,25M Major in North America. It will be a chance for Head Coach Ahmed “abdi” Abdi and In-game leader Hampus “hampus” Poser to combine efforts towards correcting the mistakes made previously, and find an optimal approach to the million-dollar tournament coming up.

In Myrvåg, most of Metizport’s staff is working around the clock to make sure the Swedish squad has a superb time in their neighboring country. CEO Arjan Sydhagen Dalsøren, Commercial Director Herman Leikanger, Head of Social Media Emil Sørlie among others are present to assist and make the stay in Norway as valuable as possible from both a team- and commercial aspect. Yesterday, everyone present came together to celebrate the 23rd birthday of Nicolas “Plopski” Gonzalez Zamora. There are also plans for a lot of other fun activities and content outside the server. On our social media, specifically on Instagram- and Snapchat, we are updating our followers daily on what’s going down at the assembly.

After the bootcamp, the team will return to home soil with only eleven days to go before hopping on flights to the US in order to make Metizport’s first ever Major appearance.
