Metizport to play European Pro League and more, starting on Sunday
September 2, 2025
It’s a quiet week for Metizport’s Counter-Strike team, but they are gearing up for action this Sunday.

Metizport has received two new invites to online tournaments – European Pro League and the second standalone cup of ESL Challenger League Season 50 with a total of $45,000 in prize pools.

With September having started, so has the aforementioned Counter-Strike fall season with its many different tournaments both online and offline. We start off with European Pro League Series 2, a $20,000 tournament running from September 6 to September 25, where Metizport starts off in the Group Stage together with Copenhagen Wolves – Jackinho and ner0’s former team – as well as the team of HAWAII. The last team in our group will be decided in the Play-In Stage the upcoming days, but we already know our opening match will commence this Sunday at either 10:00 or 12:30 CEST.

The second tournament in line will be ESL Challenger League Season 50 Cup #2, a standalone cup in the ESL Challenger League which has $25,000 up for grabs as well as a spot in the Regional Online Finals in November, the gateway to ESL Pro League Season 23 in February next year. With European Pro League having a Group Stage-format, ESL Challenger League will simply consist of one big Double-Elimination bracket with 32 teams. Our first match is scheduled for September 9 – Tuesday next week – versus Polish KOLESIE at 19:00 CEST.

These two online competitions is only a taste test of what is to come at the end of September – DraculaN #2 in Bucharest, Romania, our first LAN with the new line-up. Only a few days after that, we will be hopping onto a flight to the States, showing up at $10,000 Frag Blocktober 2025 in Philadelphia on October 2nd. We have done our fair share of reporting on the busy fall season ahead, and now it’s getting very close! As always, we hope to deliver entertainment with a high standard for all of you.
