Metizport were lucky enough to get invited directly to the Playoffs due to being one of the higher ranked team for the tournament. The opening match in the Round 16 of the tournament was played on March 12 versus ENCE Academy – a 2-1 victory for Metizport despite letting the first map slip out of their hands. Two days later, it was time for the Polish team KOLESIE in the quarterfinals, a match that also ended 2-1 in favor of Vincent “vinS” Jozefiak and the team.
Now sitting in the semifinals, Metizport went up against the highest ranked team in the tournament – illwill, ranked #21 in the world at the time of the match. But this was no match for David “forsyy” Bílý, finishing the match with a 1.42 rating as Metizport quickly swept aside the tournament favorites in two maps – 13-6 on Nuke and 13-9 on Overpass. Isak “isak” Fahlén was not far behind the Czech, finishing the match with a 1.38 rating and Overpass with 1.55, and together they formed a solid duo that decimated the opponent’s attempt at getting a hold of the match.

In the Grand Finals Metizport stood before Nemiga, who had seen an equally clean road from Round 16 up to the final match of the tournament, where $15,000 was on the line. In-game leader Jack “Jackinho” Ström Mattsson started off strong by leading his men to a victory on the first map of Nuke with a 13-10 scoreline, but on the second map of Ancient it was a completely different story as Nemiga plucked Metizport’s players down one by one and finished with a whopping 13-2 win. It would all come down to Overpass, where the two teams were neck and neck up until 11-11. where unfortunately Metizport lost control and let Nemiga steal the last two rounds needed for victory.
In the end a silver medal and $5,000 would have to suffice for the guys. The wins gathered in the tournament still had a very positive impact on the team’s ranking, and has hopefully boosted the motivation for the upcoming $30,000 Journey Spring 2026 in the beginning of next week, a 14-team LAN tournament in Stockholm that Metizport will attend.
