Today we are happy to announce that we have permanently acquired Nikola “Dragon” Boskovic into our ranks after a successful two-month loan period from Partizan Esports. 

The 26-year-old Serb helped Metizport to several important wins at LAN events in Sweden, most notably claiming the silver medal and 70,000 SEK in Svenska Cupen 2025, and was without a doubt a more-than-necessary piece to the team’s puzzle in the pursuit of regaining their strength after a disappointing fall season. Now we have bought Boskovic out of his contract with the Serbian organization with the goal to continue a successful cooperation together.

Nikola played three offline events with Metizport in November: JOURNEY 2025 in Åre, Svenska Cupen 2025 in Stockholm and then a second rotation back to Stockholm for DreamHack Knockout 2025. In Åre, the team made it all the way to top 8 before falling to the highest ranked team in the tournament, BetBoom, but Metizport gathered a lot of necessary experience and points for the global ranking. After a short two-day bootcamp in Stockholm, Nikola and the team then headed into Svenska Cupen 2025, a tournament Metizport won last year, with high spirits and ended up securing the silver medal, a great achievement for such a newly formed team. With two weeks of recovery at home, Dragon then flew back to Stockholm to attend DreamHack’s Counter-Strike tournament, take part in sponsor activities and interact with Metizport’s fans and other festival goers together with his teammates.

All in all, Nikola has been a breath of fresh air for Jack “Jackinho” Ström Mattsson’s troop and a burst of energy and firepower in his role on the server, and we’re thrilled about securing him into Metizport on a permanent basis as we will take on the world in 2026 with the same goal as this year – make it to a Major. We want to thank Partizan Esports for a smooth deal and wish them the best of luck next year without Dragon.
