Our Counter-Strike team is complete again, ready to take on the challenges ahead before 2026. It has been a hectic period in the competitive department, especially for Sports Director Morten “zEVES” Vollan Christensen who has been working around the clock to find suitable replacements to fill the two vacant spots in the team. We’ve been in talks with many interesting profiles back and forth, and now we have finally found two new individuals who we think will fit great into Metizport and our environment.
With Lucas “L00m1” Haukland benched, we have found a new AWPer in Tim “nawwk” Jonasson, who has many years of valuable experience behind him in teams such as GamerLegion, Ninjas in Pyjamas, fnatic and BC Game. The 27-year-old Swede had his latest venture in BC Game, but has been a free agent since the end of July this year. We are thrilled to welcome nawwk into Metizport on a short-term contract until the end of the year to make sure we can field a strong and firm AWPer for the squad in the (at least) three LAN events we have ahead of us.
Stepping into the shoes of Plopski, who’s currently taking a break from competitive CS due to personal reasons, is none other than Nikola “Dragon” Bošković whom we have acquired on loan from Serbian organization Partizan Esports. The 25-year-old finalizes our roster and will, together with nawwk, accompany the team on the upcoming LAN tournaments in Sweden. Dragon’s loan contract is also until the end of the year, with a chance of buying the Serb out for a set buyout if we wish to continue with him in 2026.
With yesterday’s announcement regarding Metizport going international, despite still fielding four Swedish players as of today, the acquisition of Dragon marks the first step into the new phase. We are thrilled to have nawwk and Dragon in the squad for an upcoming November and December full of competition, and hope we can reclaim the form that we’ve lost the past months.
With the Swede and the Serb joining the team, Metizport’s player roster going forward will look as follows:
Jack “Jackinho” Ström Mattsson
Isak “isak” Fahlén
Liam “MaiL09” Tügel
Nikola “Dragon” Bošković
Tim “nawwk” Jonasson
Stay tuned for more!
