Today we began our battle through the Closed European Qualifier for PGL Bucharest 2025, a $625,000 LAN event that will take place in Romania April 6-13. Our first match-up in our group, Group C, was against Ukranian Leo Team – unfortunately we lost it in two maps with very tight scorelines (11-13, 10-13). But we’re not out yet! Thankfully we get another chance in the Lower Bracket tomorrow at 10:00 CET against Partizan Esports from Serbia.
Only one spot in PGL’s qualifier will be given to the LAN event. Metizport is fighting against teams such as fnatic, BIG, Heroic, ENCE, NiP (and many, many more) and we will do our best to make you proud and go all the way!
But don’t fret! The upcoming two weeks will be PACKED with matches!
On Sunday the 9th of March, we’ll also be attending $50,000 CCT Season 2 European Series #19. We’ve been given a direct invite to the Playoffs there, where we will join the other teams in top 16. Our first opponent will be CIS-team GUN5 at 11:00 CET.
And if that’s not enough for you, hear us out: Starting on Thursday (13/3) next week, we’re happy to say we’ll be playing in the next edition of CCT as well – CCT Season 2 European Series #20. Same thing here – $50,000 prize pool and a direct Playoffs invite!
In general, March will be a very busy month for us, filled with interesting matches. We have at least one more prestigious tournament invite before next month that we will announce soon, making it a total of four different competitions. We’re looking at climbing the ranks prior to April, when perhaps the most important tournament of the year so far is happening – the $1,250,000 BLAST.tv Austin Major qualifier.
