We came, we saw, we conquered – “The latest and greatest from Metizport”
October 2, 2026

September proved, perhaps to no one’s surprise, to be another eventful month in Metizport. Our Counter-Strike team has broken through the top-50 barrier on the global ranking and claimed their first LAN trophy of 2026, and on the commercial side we’ve welcomed back a legendary brand to our partner family. That, and much more, is what we’re taking you through in October’s edition of “The latest and greatest from Metizport”!

Metizport sign new long term agreement with Craft as the team wear supplier

As of today we can happily announce that we have signed a new long term agreement with Craft as the team wear supplier, securing a wide arrangement of comfortable and practical clothing for our professional players as well as stylish merch for our fans and followers.

Craft first became part of the Metizport family in July 2024, marking an important shift for us toward a more professional competitive approach. Their merch was worn at some of our biggest achievements as an esports club, like when we claimed the gold medal at Svenska Cupen 2024 and at the BLAST Austin Major in Texas.

Now, after a period of discussions, Craft and Metizport have decided to continue our successful collaboration, giving way to a new and unique line of Metizport merch that will be announced soon.

“It’s particularly great to be back together with Metizport and make a comeback in esports at the same time. We’re excited to continue building our partnership further and follow Metizport going forward.”
–
Michael Sæther, Sales Manager at Craft

Arjan Sydhagen Dalsøren, CEO at Metizport, had this to say:

“We are pleased to have secured a new agreement with Craft and New Wave Group, a preferred and flexible partner for us both as a club and a company. Exciting collections and projects are inbound.”

Counter-Strike

Metizport’s Counter-Strike team Metizport Epicbet have secured their third gold medal of 2026 in Prague last weekend, as they went undefeated through Tipsport Open Cup and raised the trophy after beating Inner Circle’s Academy team – who had done a miraculous run through the Lower Bracket of the tournament – 2-0 in the Grand Finals.

This was a very important victory, not just for the team but also for Metizport as an organization, and it shows that the team’s development is certainly going in the right direction. The squad’s youngster Liam “MaiL09” Tügel highlighted the importance of the result after the tournament:

“Really Important win for us, both for our confidence and VRS.”

And yes, the flawless tournament run in Prague meant we climbed to 48th on the global ranking as well as 36th on the European, putting us a lot closer to the upper echelon where the invites to the bigger tournaments are handed out.

“We’re here for the experience” Peter “stanislaw” Jarguz stated in a quick interview before the Upper Bracket Finals, also highlighting that while the team had seen a shaky start to their tournament run, as the days and matches went on the form was steadily improving.

stanislaw was happy with the team’s development throughout the tournament

With the roster still in an early phase with MaiL09 back in the lineup – no more than two months old – gaining experience and strengthening the foundation is indeed the main goal for the rest of the season, and that’s why we’re extra proud to see that the work everyone involved in the team is putting in is paying off.

New vlog on our YouTube

The vlog from Prague has already been uploaded on our YouTube channel, highlighting the run from start to finish and the moment we lift the trophy, the tactical work going on behind the scenes for a LAN tournament, as well as some interesting insight into the team’s current situation and their goals for the season. Check it out below!

Looking back on September

The victory in Czechia is not the only notable result the team has had lately. In last month’s article we highlighted that our roster had qualified for Logitech G Play Connect 2026 in Warsaw after a superb run in the Closed Qualifiers, and the attendance in the Polish tournament proved to be a very fruitful experience as well.

While Metizport Epicbet were unable to make it out of the Group Stage, the squad contended in every single matchup versus teams much higher than us on the ranking, and were in the last match of the tournament able to completely shut down GamerLegion (ranked 30th in the world at the time) with a 13-5 score.

In a post-match interview after the win, stanislaw said “We’re building something here for the long term, and every single LAN experience is going to be valuable for us.” The Canadian veteran also highlighted that he had identified a change in playstyle compared to when playing online tournaments, and that converting the level of play from online to offline was also a goal for the team going forward.

All in all, Metizport Epicbet still climbed five spots on the ranking from the win against GamerLegion in Poland alone. Together with the journey through the Closed Qualifier, an online tournament played before the trip in the form of CCT Europe 2026 Series #8, where they finished top 4 and took home $2,500, and the first-place finish at Tipsport Open Cup, September has been a very successful month for our Counter-Strike division. They have gained a lot of experience, confidence, highly important points for the ranking, and hopefully also some unforgettable memories together.

What’s next?

As the crew rests at home after having flown back from Czechia a few days ago, the next stop on the roadmap will be in the last week of October when the boys head out to Lisbon to play their next LAN tournament. In between that, they have two online tournaments lined up – the Closed Qualifiers for 1win Private Club #2 (a $100,000 event in Belgrade) and $30,000 NODWIN Clutch Series #13, where we will start directly from the Playoffs stage. Let’s hope for an equally successful October!

Is your esports team looking for a place to bootcamp?

In cooperation with Komplett Group, one of Scandinavia’s biggest electronics retailers, we can now offer a private bootcamp facility south of Oslo, fully equipped with the latest technology and tailored to your needs!

The facility sits inside Komplett’s headquarters in Sandefjord, dedicated to professional use and private for the length of your stay, with no access for anyone else while a team is in.
Inside there are two near identical bootcamp rooms behind frosted glass, each set up for five players and a coach, with two climate zones the team controls itself in each room. The machines are built on some of the best technology available.

Inside the facility there is also a huge open space with several TVs and consoles, sim rigs and a bar area, and one floor below, teams can have access to Komplett’s own content rooms. Use them yourselves, or hire us to handle it and we will tailor a content package for you.

Because there are two rooms, a main and academy roster can travel together and scrim each other through the week. Lunch is included every weekday, catering and hotels can be arranged, and an on-site manager is there to assist throughout the whole stay.

Torp Airport is 15 minutes away and Oslo is 1h 30 minutes by train. Tønsberg, Norway’s oldest city, is 20 minutes down the road. So if you are looking for a place to bootcamp surrounded by rich Viking history, reach out to us at morten@metizport.com.

Another Pokémon Trade Day!

After the first successful Pokemon Trade Day at Liv og Røre in Ålesund (where we operate from our gaming hub “Metizport Moa”) with the venue completely packed as Pokémon enthusiasts gathered around a shared interest – whether to buy, sell, or trade cards, meet other collectors, or simply share their hobby with like-minded people – we just had to host another one!

On October 24th, we’re filling Liv og Røre once again with collectors, traders, players, and TCG enthusiasts for another day packed with Pokémon, One Piece, great deals, and a genuine community vibe. There will also be food and drinks, gaming and activities on-site, as well as family-friendly activities and surprises throughout the day.

The first Pokémon Trade Day was too great not to repeat

This is just another example of our local initiatives that bring people of all ages together around a common interest, and we’re proud to host such an eventful day together with many different vendors and collaborators, which will hopefully become a very memorable experience for all attendants!

Brawl Stars

Our Brawl Stars division is quietly running onward despite us not having an active team at the moment. A lot of planning is going on internally ahead of next year, and in the meantime we continue to give back to the community by hosting open-for-all tournaments, “Matcherinos”. We are currently on the 8th season of “Metizport Madness”, and our most recent tournament that will take place on October 16 has been given “Silver” status, with Supercell donating $100 to the prize pool and the top 2 of the tournament receiving an exclusive winner pin.
