24-year-old Swede Nicolas “Plopski” Gonzalez Zamora has been with Metizport since May 2024, having played in several different roster iterations and taken part in some of the biggest achievements in the organization’s history.

 

In late 2024 he played his role with excellence in the feat at Svenska Cupen 2024, where Metizport beat NiP in the Grand Final and became the best team in Sweden. Zamora was also part of the roster when Metizport qualified for our first Major in April 2025, which became historical not only for the organization but also for Swedish Counter-Strike. Now Plopski is part of an international line-up led by Peter “stanislaw” Jarguz.

 

So far, 2026 has been a bit up-and-down, with high peaks and deep lows – Nicolas’s many-sided playstyle has helped the team toward five trophies this year, but also last-place finishes in important tournaments both online and offline. We sat down with Plopski to get some more insight into Metizport Epicbet’s situation from the Swede’s perspective.

 

Hey Nicolas, first of all, how are you doing?

 

Hello, I am doing fine, not the best and not the worst, but overall it’s fine.

 

The team won ECL two weeks ago, beating OG in a real nailbiter of a Grand Final. Talk me through how the tournament was for you and the team, and what the win meant for you.

 

Winning ECL was very important for our confidence, because it has been pretty bad lately considering us losing to some teams we should not lose versus. So it was a really important win and I’m happy we won without losing any best-of-threes, even though you could say we shouldn’t have won the final. But stanislaw is just the goat with his clutches.

 

The victory in ECL was very welcomed after two disappointing results in Stockholm and Paris. From your perspective, what happened at these LANs?

 

Our last two LANs have not been good, as everyone knows. It’s a lot because we just havent figured out how to play with this lineup. We tried approaching the game differently for ECL which helped overall, but I’d say we are far from where we want to be.

 

 

MaiL09 is back in the team. How has it been to reunite with Liam after his loan period in Alliance? How has the process of integrating him into the team been so far?

 

Reuniting with Liam has been very nice. I always enjoyed playing with him because he is a huge talent in my eyes and he just came from Alliance where he performed really well. So I’m just excited to play with him again, but we also have a lot of work that needs to be done because he is a bit different of a player than Isak was. We needed to change up some positions and how we approach the game, so slowly we are figuring it out.

 

You’re the longest standing player in Metizport, having spent over two years in the organization. Having played both in an all-Swedish lineup and now in an international roster, what differences do you see between the two?

 

I mean, the biggest difference between Swedish and international is obviously the language barrier, there’s a lot more mistakes in the comms and misunderstandings compared to playing with your own countrymen. So for sure the language barrier, otherwise there’s not that much difference.

 

At the end of June you extended your contract with us for another year – what are your goals for this period?

 

My biggest goal for Metizport is for sure to qualify for another major. As a smaller goal, it’s maybe qualifying for another tier1 tournament and becoming a top30 team, or something like this.
