We’ve arrived in Paris!
August 7, 2026

Our Counter-Strike team has touched down in the French capital.

Captain and In-game Leader Peter “stanislaw” Jarguz and his forces flew to Paris yesterday after two days in Stockholm, correcting some of the mistakes from the previous tournament of Stake Pulse Beat 1 and preparing accordingly for the upcoming brawl.

In Paris the boys will compete in the Esports World Cup 2026 Qualifier, an open tournament with 64 teams, where the top 4 teams qualify for the main Esports World Cup event, one of the most prestigious tournaments of the whole year with $2,000,000 up for grabs.

Having been placed in Group 12 of the tournament alongside teams like Team Liquid, Metizport will play their first match tonight at 18:00 CEST. The qualifier then continues tomorrow at 11:00, and runs until August 9th.

There’s not only four qualifier spots to be gathered, but also $100,000 in prize money awarded to the teams placing within the 5-16 range, meaning even if you don’t manage to qualify you get a fair share of “bounty” money, good for the global ranking.

Our Creative Producer Torstein is also with the team to capture a lot of content during the event. Speaking of capturing content, we just released a vlog from the tournament we just attended in Stockholm, which can be viewed on our YouTube!
