The 24-year-old Swede is set to take a break for next season to focus on himself, and therefore Metizport and Fahlén have mutually agreed to not renew his contract ending July 1st. Isak linked up with the team for Metizport’s 2025 investment after a shorter stint with Ninjas in Pyjamas, with himself and Hampus “hampus” Poser stepping in beside Adam “adamb” Ångström, Lucas “L00m1” Haukland and Nicolas “Plopski” Gonzalez Zamora.
This lineup proved to be a rather up-and-down ordeal, but there were several highlights during the squad’s near 7-month tenure together. Qualifying for the BLAST.tv Austin Major needs no further discussion regarding its notability – a historical moment both for Metizport and Swedish Counter-Strike.

While adamb and hampus departed to OG and 500, isak continued in the roster and welcomed Jack “Jackinho” Ström Mattsson to his second ordeal in the organization, as well as young prodigy Liam “MaiL09” Tügel. While the second half of the year was challenging, Fahlén and the team still claimed the silver medal at Svenska Cupen at the end of the year, finishing 2025 off with a bang.
In 2026, Fahlén stayed true to his role in the team and, despite roster changes, played an instrumental role in Metizport’s upswing with second places at De_Airport Masters in Oslo and BC Game Masters Season 1, a full-blown tournament victory in European Pro League S6, and lastly another silver medal at ROG Journey Summer 2026 in Jönköping, where the squad was one round away from beating Alliance in the Grand Final.

Now, amidst the team’s summer break, Isak has decided to take his first break from competition after over five years of professional play.
“I have started to feel some signs of a burn out and I think that it’s best for me to listen to what my body and head is telling me.”
We can’t put into words the impact Isak has had on Metizport, and how much we appreciate all his hard work put down under our banner. Despite a lot of ups and downs, he remained a loyal and supportive teammate, and he stayed humble and professional at all times. We hope that whatever path Isak decides to take going forward, it will be filled with success and prosperity!
Metizport’s Sports Director Morten Vollan Christensen finishes off with his thoughts:
“Isak will always be a legend in this club as he was part of the team that took us to our first ever Major. He’s been a positive force and an emotional pillar for everyone around him, always setting a high standard. After years of competing without a proper break, he felt it was time to step back and focus on himself and that’s a decision I fully respect and support. I wish him nothing but the best and I hope our paths cross again.“
