The Counter-Strike team is ready to set in motion their first LAN event with newly acquired Maciej “F1KU” Miklas.

Yesterday the squad flew down to beautiful Vila Nova De Gaia on Portugal’s west coast, gathering in the country’s third biggest city together with the team’s Assistant Coach Miguel “ner0” Videira to prepare for today’s action in BC Game Masters Championship.

The event, which marks the first LAN event with 22-year-old Maciej “F1KU” Miklas, features 15 teams and $50,000 in prize money. The first day, which starts for Metizport this afternoon at 17:00 CEST, will see two groups of teams clash for one spot each in the Playoffs, as well as two each in the Play-Ins, both stages taking place tomorrow.

The main goal today is therefore to make it at least to the Play-Ins, so that the journey in the offline event can continue tomorrow. Captain Peter “stanislaw” Jarguz will rally his men for three matchups today, which will look as follows:

17:00 CEST – Metizport vs OG
18:15 CEST – Metizport vs Rebels
19:30 CEST – Metizport vs Betclic

The team will need to win at least one of these matches to have a chance to qualify for the next day.

Following Metizport through the opening day of the tournament will be none other than Komplett, who is hosting a Watchparty in Norwegian together with us on Komplett and Metizport’s Twitch channels. Silje and Herman from Metizport will be present!
