Peter “stanislaw” Jarguz and co. are preparing for their first LAN event together after becoming a permanent roster. Following the signing of 22-year-old Maciej “F1KU” Miklas, the team has been on a tough practice schedule and will continue until it’s time to head out to Vila Nova De Gaia, the city the tournament is being held in, on May 20.
Metizport were initially planning to attend the Comic Con Baltics 2026 Finals in Vilnius, Lithuania on May 23rd, but made the decision to skip it and prioritize BC Game Masters Championship as it offers a better opportunity for the team. The $50,000 offline event, taking place May 21-24th, will feature 16 top teams and a packed schedule of matches, with a guaranteed five-match format on the first day.
Metizport will go into the tournament with high spirits following the first place finish in European Pro League last month, and with the addition of F1KU, a signing that both stanislaw and Head Coach Vincent “vinS” Jozefiak were thrilled to get over the line, we hope that the team can collect some well-needed LAN wins in order to head into June with a good foundation.
Stay updated on all our channels next week as we take on Portugal! The action starts on May 21st.
