All in all the tournament in Åre was a success, especially with a completely new roster, but ultimately Metizport fell in the Quarterfinals against the highest ranked team in the entire tournament – BetBoom. Still, the matches won were very important towards the ranking, and Metizport rose 25 spots on the global ranking in just two days.

The squad took the same night train back from Northern Sweden yesterday, arriving in Stockholm in late afternoon. Today and tomorrow they will be having a short bootcamp at Red Bull Gaming Sphere, where the new Head Coach Vincent “vinS” Jozefiak and Assistant Coach Miguel “ner0” Videira will polish the tactics and repair the holes in the boat for Svenska Cupen 2025 coming up in just 2 days – “The Swedish Cup” of Counter-Strike.

Last year we won Svenska Cupen after beating Ninjas in Pyjamas 3-0 in the Grand Finals, becoming the best Counter-Strike team in Sweden. That’s why this tournament is so important for us – we want to defend our title, and winning the tournament back-to-back would be a massive achievement.
For now, the team rests between competition, recharging the batteries for showtime on November 12, when the group stage of the 300,000 kr SEK(≃ $31,444.53 USD) tournament in Stockholm starts. It will feature eight teams from Sweden – four invited and four qualified, and span over four days.
