Metizport has accepted an invite to $50,000 online tournament Winline Insight Season 9, running between October 20 and November 6.

With three LAN events coming up for our Counter-Strike team – JOURNEY 2025, Svenska Cupen 2025 and DreamHack Knockout 2025 – the squad needed some practice in official matches before they head out on the road. Winline Insight Season 9, a tournament with 16 teams and $50,000 in prize money, features many great rosters – ECSTATIC, Nemiga and Spirit Academy to name a few, as well as fellow Swedish teams Johnny Speeds and EYEBALLERS. With Metizport being put in Group D, we also start last in the Group Stage with our opening matchup happening on Tuesday next week at 16:00 CET. 

We have generally been quite selective with the incoming invites the latest month, mainly due to a tight schedule around the three aforementioned offline events. But Winline Insight offered a great opportunity to showcase our Swedish roster on the server, and for Head Coach Ahmed “abdi” Abdi, who is planned to continue with the team until December 1st, it will be a chance to sharpen the tools for the upcoming action on home soil starting November 7.
